I actually just changed a GPO myself.
Our switchboard had a dual 10amp GPO in it directly wired straight to an old wired fuse.
I replaced it with a single 15amp GPO, upgraded the old wire to the GPO & I also replaced the fuse with a new circuit breaker.
You should NOT do your own switchboard wiring yourself unless you have a licence.
Mine is actually a Qld Drivers Licence.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Anyone used one of these:
http://www.weldmaster.com.au/product...d=110&pid=3219
Looks the goods and can be had for about $1600
I like the miller machines from the states; have a way better range than what we get here but they don't work on our power

Looks like the Jasic and the unimig. Infact I would take a punt and say it's just rebadged from china just like the jasic is a bebadge unimig machine (also chinese). The Jasic can be had off ebay for $1000 with one year warranty and is 250A. I bought the Jasic and am using it atm as an arc/gassless mig. Seems to be working fine though it's my first welder so I have nothing to compare it too.
Good thing about being a copy of the unimig is that unimig has support here in oz. If you do buy one of these unit and do decide to use gassless you will need to buy the serrated wheel as you'll have problems with the default gas wire wheel on the feeder. That isn't a fault of this welder though, it's usually the case when switching from gas to gasless wire. Cost $40-$60 depending where you shop as always. If you go the ebay route the guy selling it has the serrated wheels (there is a proper name but it escapes me). I opted to wait and see but in the end bought it locally after inconsistent (slipping) feed due to the wire being soft unlike the gas wire.
I did have one problem. The screw that threads out into the arm for the mig wire was loose. I thought it was that way by default. Perhaps when I undid the large spool holder it came loose. What would happen is that as the spool turned it self tightened jamming. I wasted probably 20-30m of gassless wire trying different ways to solve it until I decided to open up the unit and re-tighten it. Why 20-30m you may ask. Well each time it jammed I lost the entire length from the spool to the tip (around 4 m). Now it works like a charm. Hence the reason I undid the cover and have pics of the internals.
Pics of Jasic with cover taken off for those interested are attached..Some shots a little blury, sorry about that..

In the above pic you can see the bolt I needed to tighten sitting on the steel wall slight off the centre of the pic.

It's nice and neat and well laid out from a laypersons perspective. Better than I thought it would be...
