    Default migomag 220

    G'Day -

this is my first post - I've read through many articles in many different sections, and the quality of information and the passion that members have makes it stand so far ahead of any other forum I've come across covering these topics.

Down to business - I'm looking at bidding on a Migomag 220 single phase welder at auction this week. I would be using it for general handyman work (no huge projects) and also for creating artist work - from thin sheet metal to alli.

The unit appears to be in good condition - but can anybody vouch for this particular unit? It's obviously a superseded model (which doesn't worry me) ... I would appreciate any feedback from personal experience with this unit.

    Thanks, Chris.

    .
    Hi xris,

Its not only a stick welder but an AC/DC( meaning Aluminium capable as well as steel ) Tig welder as well, according to google.
It well worth going after as its a known brand ,ie not an an known ebay pos chinese machine.

Look for the Tig torch and regulator with it and important instruction manual.

Thanks Grahame really appreciate your response - I'll try and track down the owner who is closing down his business with this auction and ask about the manual since I didn't find any ref on the migomag site about a pdf manual file for the 220. Just looking through all the pics of the lot items in the auction (which seem in good condition and well looked after - and a clean shop floor etc) he would be the kind of person who would have the paperwork put away somewhere (hopefully!!).
Let you know if I'm successful.
Once again, thanks for your time.
    Chris.
