MMA Welders for 4mm 7018 rods
I am doing a job for the farm where I need to weld some heavy plate for an excavator attachment so I am looking for an arc welder that will run 4mm 7018 electrodes. The cig weld catalogue says they need 145-220A and there are a few little inverter welders on ebay that on paper look like thay should be be able to pull this off. Is there anything that I'm missing?

Gidday
A good little inverter that can hit 180-200 AMPS will burn 4mm electrodes fine...............Just try to track down a rig with the best duty cycle for the amount of cash your willing to pay!
