Nuweld Powermig 175
Has anyone used this welder?
What are the guts of it like?
Deals Direct are selling it for 650, seems like a bit of a bargain since united tools are selling the same one for 725.

Hi,
It is a transformer machine with 6 power settings, a built in non removable MIG torch and a jumper cable for an earth clamp. If you dig into it you will find a 10% duty cycle at 175 amps and a plastic geared wire feeder encased in black plastic with a small 20mm feed roller. The same are sold on ebay with orange paint jobs at 195 amps for $299 delivered to your door. Deals direct is a clearance house and clears stock for organisations that need to get rid of stuff . Nu weld is distributed by JW Ross. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for that mate, sounds like one to stay away from!
Only reason I was asking about them besides Deals Direct is that all the gear my local hardware store stocks is NuWeld welders.
