Making sense of my welder specs
Hi guys,
I own Cigweld WeldSkill MicroArc 140 and its specs say:STICK (MMAW) Welding Output, 40ºC, 10 min.140A@15%, 25.6V70A@60%, 22.8V54A@100%, 22.2V
Now, it's 10A plug welder and here is where numbers do not line up for me. 140A*25.6V=3584W where our 10A GPOs are rated 2400W. 1.5 minute at such overage should well enough to trip the switchboard, yet it works . Can anyone enlighten me how does it manage to pull so much power from the 10A GPO?
Thank you.
