What size wire?
I bought a MIG mainly to do body panels on cars. I have a stick welder for heavier stuff.
Just wondering what size wire would be best for a general purpose use with probably 50% of use on the cars . Manual says it can get down to 35ampDavid L

0.6 is normally the best for car bodies, although you might get away with 0.8.
With only a 35amp minimum you will have to be careful not to blow holes ... maybe 0.6mm would be the best choice.Cheers.
Vernon.
