Smoking mig.
I was welding the top on a cyclone I’m making this arvo and after a funny slushy noise the mig quit.
Turned around and there’s a considerable amount of smoke exiting the welder.
Turned off and disconnected it from the 15amp drop from the Vass bar.
Still smoking profusely, so went into the house to get my iPad for a pic.
Worse when I return and then I notice flames inside.
Took a pic and gave it a shake and the flame died.
Disconnected the earth and wheeled it to the open doorway and took the sides off.
Stunk out the ‘shop so turned on the rafter mounted fan to disperse the smoke.
I think it’s well dead so rang the mate who gave it to me a few years back to complain.
He has another identical which he’s never bothered to even get gas for so I’ll grab it tomorrow and try again.
