Any can welders?
Lately, I have had some family issues in that my wife is very ill and I had to find some way to clear my mind. Stress relief I guess. I have got this thing in my head that I want to master welding aluminium cans. Don't ask me why I want to weld cans because I guess its pretty useless in real terms? Just some mental instability perhaps.
In any case, I have managed to stick some cans together and although not nice looking consistent welds, they are are welded together. Its pretty hard, one slip-up and there's a hole.
Pics attached of some of my handy-work. Surely, there must be someone out there with good looking ones?

Dunno if this is going to help...
My mum passed away on the 28th of January this year. She suffered a massive anaphylactic shock, and her heart stopped for up to 20 minutes in the early hours of the preceding Friday. The hypoxia caused such severe brain damage that even her brain stem was damaged so much that she was left with arrhythmia and extremely erratic breathing. They withdrew life support at about 2.00pm and the tank ran dry at about 10.30pm.
Hence I have not frequented this forum recently due to important events....
Had she been in hospital during this episode there would have been a 15% chance of 'retaining some cognitive function' but she would have lived in care for the rest of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years (and of course her children). They have known each other for 63 years. He is shattered but coping.
My mum was hyper-allergic to nearly everything, including many forms of radiation. Late last year a Smart Meter was installed on my parents' house. Her health deteriorated rapidly afterwards.
I know, my story is different to yours, and the human will to live is sometimes unstoppable....
I know what it is like seeing a good friend completely helpless... my mum died before she could witness me keeping a promise to her and dad.... maybe she will witness it yet? I need proof before I can believe in an 'afterlife'.
I don't think any person ever finishes what they set out to do....
