Welding courses
Hello everyone
My name is Andrew McBride
I'm form the UK, here on a working visa.
Basically I'm after some advise, any would be greatly appreciated.
Back home I'm a fully qualified plumber gas fitter, I had a bit of pipe fitting experience years ago and just before I left the UK had a few days more and remembered how much I liked it and now would really like to get in to the trade over here.
I just need to find somewhere or someone who can teach me the how to weld so I can get my foot in the door. I know someone who can get me in to an oil refinery in Brisbane but I would defo need some sort of welding course first.
I've seen some welding courses near Brisbane but they're $200 per day! seems a bit much to me?
Thanks for reading
A

At tafe you'll get a course for say $300 which will go for something like 10 nights x 4 hours each. Great value for money as you get tuition, welding stock and consumables included. Cheers - Mick
