I like Rapid Welding in the UK. Welcome to the Rapid Welding Website. I got my Kemppi MasterTIG from them delivered to my door cheaper than I could buy it locally.
For local stuff, I use Welding Equipment, Welding Supplies, Welding Machine- nationalwelding.com.au. They are a Speedgas agent and they are open Saturdays.

Good price if they are Binzel originals? We sell them at 36p each which according to google is 54 cents? (MB25 standard tips).
We can Royal Mail airmail packets from £3.30 (100 grams) (up to 5 days for delivery) and up to 1kg by Royal Mail airsure packets for £20.06 Everything else is done on interparcel type sites.
Yep - rapid welding are also good. Like them we have just enquired about becoming a proper 3M agent as our sales are increasing. Always a good thing.

Even though this thread is a month old, I figured I would drag it out. I purchase a bunch of TIG gear from all over the place. My recent (last 3 months) are below:
Thor Welding (Australia) - (Paul) - Always ships promptly, and is a really nice guy. I buy my TIG filler exclusively from him. He has also got me some harder to find items (by request) like gas lens in small sizes, silicon bronze filler etc. Been using his service via Ebay for ~couple of years now and never had a single problem. He goes out of his way to get what you need.
Rapid Welding (UK) - Pretty poor service from these guys. Basically stuffed me around for weeks on an order with excuses that it was out of stock. Coincidentally shipped when I contacted them to ask it where it was. They tend to be quite a bit more expensive than the US suppliers for the same items.
Arc Zone Welding Supplies (US) - Purchased a CK torch from these guys. Shipping cost a fortune ($60 US) on a small torch. Finally arrived 3 weeks after purchase. I was not happy at all with their service. Unfortunately it looks like they are exclusive dealers for CK TIG torches, so I had no choice.
Harris Welding Supplies (US) - Goes by "torchking" on Ebay. I purchased a Miller Digital Elite helmet from these guys. It was a great price, and arrived in 5 days. I literally ordered on a Monday (Sunday US time) and it was here by Friday. I was shocked by the speed of the postal service and the guys at Harris. The shipping was also very reasonable.
That is my 2cents from the transactions I have done over the last few months. Good to see the guy from CheltenhamWeld here. I will have to check them out.

Cheers for the feedback on your experiences variant22.
I have been looking at those CK tig tourches from Arc zone welding supplies, very tempting to purchase one, $60 shipping you would expect it to arrive with in a few days.
I made a purchase from 6 shop river on ebay, price was cheap for the item and same as postage, 2 weeks once it arrived so it that wasnt to bad

Hi, I got mine from Silverwater Welding Supplies. Staff there seems know what they are talking about. Besides, things are cheap compare to national welding supplies. I'm from Sydney by the way.

They are quite a nice torch. I have been working with a Kemppi torch which is quite large and hard to get comfortable. The CK torch is very light and easy to hold. I will be using it with a foot pedal as adding a hand switch will bulk it up too much.
I am tempted to get one of the really small "microtig" torches for doing fine work. They look quite nice, but they are also quite expensive. I am not sure I have a need for one at the moment. Not to mention the issue with only a single company selling them who's service is at best is very average.
I have see the torch consumables by "river" on Ebay. I thought about grabbing some as they were really cheap. I did not get around to it, but no doubt I will soon. Good to hear the shipping was decent.
For the record, I don't issue with slow shipping. The thing that grinds my gears is when I pay for "super expensive" shipping and then the seller waits for weeks to ship the item. I have been caught like this by Amazon once or twice.
Good to see them stocking some of the BSX range of gloves. I have the "Tigsters" and they are brilliant. I like them so much I purchased a spare pair! I really can't say enough good things about them. They are comfortable and super thin whilst being excellent heat resistors. I see them as essential for anyone doing TIG welding. I can actually feel the filler rod in my hand with these gloves!

I got the CK Flex-loc 130 amp torch. I have not used it yet as I need a DINSE connector to connect it up to my Kemppi. It however looks like a quality item, has a really thin lead (I got the single lead variety) and is lightweight. Pretty much all the things I was looking for. The jury is still out on how useful the flex-loc head will be.

Hello Garry,
I had never thought of buying from the UK. Good idea. Did you end up buying an economiser? What did you pay inc. freight?
I have seen them being used in the US and thought they were a great idea but nearly died when I found out the cost in Australia.
Cheers,
Bruce.
