Default AE Parsons 1941 - set square?

    Hi,
Just wandering if anyone can tell me what this is? I'm thinking maybe used by builders?

    Cheers,
    Nick

    I will have a go.
looks like an early version of what is now a speed square. It would be a 3,4,5 length to be square. The markings would be for standard roof pitch and the level would set(or check) the degrees for rafters. As for a name, builders thingy.
    cheers
