Default E A Berg tools and a Disston handsaw

I was given a jumble of tools from a cleanout.
Among them was a E A berg 1528 6 1/2 piano music side cutting pliers.
    Also a Disston USA Handsaw.
I have only associated Berg with chisels???
Could these be a piano tuners kit type of thing???

The saw has a steel metal back and a teeth set I have not seen. I may be able to get a bit of blade etch.
Any help with identifying the saw.
    Thanks in advance.
    Lyle

Hi Lyle. I was reading about Disston saws only the other day. Apparently if the medallion has "USA" rather than "Phila" then it was made from the 1940's onwards. But there are much better saw whisperers than me out there.

Thanks. I did some more searching and found the Disstonian site.
I'll try and dig some more.

I can't provide much info but to add that E A berg are known for their pliers and cut throat razors too. I have a a nice pair of thin nosed E A berg pliers.

E.A.Berg was a mayor maker of all sorts of pliers and pincers. They even made bolt cutters. All of it absolute top quality.
