Calling the Rabone Aficionados Collective
I bought a box of tools today off marketplace and there's an interesting Rabone 36" No. 1113, the outer edges are brass bound and it has a scale I don't know what it's for. Anyone got any ideas?

The odd markings appear to be for use when making or reading scale models/drawings scaled at 1/4" to the foot, or 1" to the foot, with the fine divisions at the end of the scale allowing you to read scaled inches. (but I'm just guessing)
