Hello everyone,
I recently purchased myself an old Woodfast Alta combination saw (purchased it yesterday actually). I bought it from an old cabinet maker, and he took fantastic care if it. He even had the original documents and and catalogue of when he bought it new.
As I was looking through the catalogues I saw that there was heaps of attachments and accessories that could be bought for these combination machines. Sadly mine didn't come with any. But, I was wondering, how common is it for attachments like a mortising jig or table extension?
Looking forward to joining the community of these magnificent machines.
Thanks,
William

Hi William .
I used an Alta for years as an apprentice before moving on to bigger and better saws . Not having blade tilt on the first two saws I used was something I made sure of for the third saw, which was the first saw I bought .
Ive never seen loose Alta Parts for sale . Think I saw one saw with a grinding attachment once . Has your catalogue got pictures of these attachments and accessories? Can you post Pictures of your saw and the paper work you got with it ? That would be good to see. Specially the attachments as well if you have pictures.
Rob
