    Default Mit-a-mit hand drill question

    Heyo,

Just acquired this Mitamit hand drill from the auction place and I'm trying to clean it up. I've dissasembled it thus far, but can't for the life of me find a way to get the gear and the post out of the body.

Has anyone come across this sort before and have any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Chris

If you look carefully, you should find a small pin that has been peened over holding it in.
The pin and hold will be tapered, so with a fine pin punch working on the small end, you should be able to knock it out.
