    Default Delta Homecraft bandsaw restore

    Thought I'd share some before and after shots of my latest bandsaw restoration project. I think she came out pretty well.. Now I have to tackle it's bigger brother sitting in my garage, an old 14" Rockwell/Delta.

    Thanks. I decided on going with Rust-Oleum hammered grey, it's not the same as the original colour but it looks pretty good and works well in hiding surface flaws.

    Noting your location, what is the origin of most of the (older) machinery in your region? UK/British, USA, European,?

    Both my old Rockwell Delta saw were made in the USA, these two are the only old machinery I have so I cannot say for sure that most of the machinery came from the USA back then. I do know there used to be a Rockwell Delta manufacturing plant here in South Africa. Most of my older hand tools are British though, I think there also used to be a Spear & Jackson factory here.
