This looks very similar to a members scroll saw I played with recently!

Dale, I have a suspicion McPhersons imported them in for a while and rebadged them as a McPhersons machine, recently I have seen a small bandsaw that was a Delta machine with a McPhersons Badge also for sale on ebay, I think it sold for $150, missing the motor.

I thought it was a rebadge, even the ones above came under three different branding designation, Delta, Delta Rockwell, Delta Milwaukee and Rockwell. So there was some form of co branding/manufacture.
You can see there was some changes to the belt guard.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

Delta 40-440 VS 24″ Scroll Saw
This saw is often thought of as being the best scroll saw ever designed, right up there with the Powermatic. My saw has the variable speed attachment which is nice. The motor is original Delta with the shaft cover and is a Double-Duty single phase. Uses a No. 716 steel stand for this saw.
