Durden Junior
Came across this neat little machine today (somebody gave it to my dad). Fired it up and it works well, just needs a little clean up and a riving knife reinstalled.

Does anybody have a copy of the instruction manual? I'd like t know how to adjust things without breaking it.
thanks,
Peter

I'll drag the copy out of the garage and get my partner to scan it at work. I'll post when it is done and those interested in the manual can give me an email address then to send it to.

Ok I found the manual. It is a new one my Dad bought it when I inherited the unit from my great uncle in 1995.
It cost $14.52 (inc 21% sales tax)+ $2.48 postage = $17
There is 34 Pages. So when my missus goes back to work after Easter I will as her to scan it. She may only be able to do a few pages a day. is there any info anyone wants urgent??

Found part of the box too
My Dad found part of the original box it came it ( it was being used as a pin board). Seems this unit was purchased from Anthony Hordern's in Kiera street Wollongong.
Thanks for the manual.

As an apprentice, this is the machine we carted around the jobs.
The rip fence was a real @%$##*#!@, it would not stay parallel to the blade when ripping longish lengths. Other than that, it was handy. The person who never made a mistake never made anything
Cheers

My Dad bought a Junior Joiner in the 1950s, used it until he died. It was moved around the family as required, I had it for some years as my only power tool apart from a drill. It's now in my son's garage and still going strong. It's built 3 houses and 9 boats, plus countless other projects. The main drawbacks are no blade tilt and the mitre gauge is a pain to use. You couldn't kill them with a brick!
