I saw that Wright spindle moulder the other day on ebay.
It would be perfect for a home workshop.

    I have the 10 AGS, It's a nice little saw .
    Rob,
The local was not as mass produced and so a few things are machined from the solid rather than die cast.
The throat plate for example, also the locking knobs for the tilt and rise/fall handles are Al rather than plastic/bakerlite. The handles themselves may be different also Al rather than CI not sure on this one?
The big diff is the fact that the riving knife does not travel up and down with the blade, it remains at a fixed height.
A mate who was sales manager for Austral clued me up on this many years ago.

I actually have one that I bought, as for some strange reason it was being sold with a box of 1 1/4" cutters along with a set of cutters that fit this machine. I had thought to resell it, I would need to convert it, to make it suitable as a router table, but maybe I need to reconsider it.

    Henry,

She hasn't threatened to take my keys, something else Why is it that I spend my pocket money on another machine, and then within days there is a collection of Wadkins for sale? Is this proof that God exists?

    Cheers,

    Rob,
I was just about to put that one up (after clicking on their other items), you beat me to it. I really love that machine (need a bigger workshop). I would love to see photo's of even the pile of parts you have of the Australian version (do you know who made it and what model it is). The Fay is also verrry nice, I did find it a bit funny that they had made the brake to operate by pulling instead of pushing though.

    Cheers,

    Hi Camo,

    My one is a Servian.
Here it is before we took it apart on one of our Thursday night get togethers
Spanners in one hand , a coldie in the other

The linear bearings were cactus so the oscillating action looked like a see saw in action

That is one heavy machine as well

    Rob,

You have been holding out, that's a great machine. No more Sushi until that thing is back together.

Woodworking Machine Chain Mortiser | Power Tools | Gumtree Australia Hornsby Area - Dural | 1026358009
This is a very heavy duty Tough brand chain mortiser. It has an almost new chain and bar and is 3 phase. I used it briefly to cut mortises in 50mm square jarrah and it just goes thru like butter. Very easy and safe to use and quite rare these days. Will do a much neater and more accurate mortise than a chisel mortiser. I paid $1100 5 years ago secondhand, so grab a bargain.

We're moving, so it all has to go. This home woodwork shop has everything you would need to build just about anything as a hobbyist or a home based business. Originally set up to make top quality Grandfather Clocks. I bought a business some years ago from an old guy who had made a living for 20 years building these clocks and who was retiring. I did a little, but then went on to another business interest, so the woodwork equipment has had little or no use since. There are heaps of detailed plans and jigs to make these clocks. There are even some semi assembled carcasses and a brand new clock movement which cost me $1200.
I purchased this business for $35000, but will sell everything I have for $20000. All items are single phase and include:
Emco Table Moulder with numerous cutting bits
    Hoffman dovetail routing machine
Dewalt 10 inch radial arm saw
Routermaster with 1600W Router(Looks like a radial arm saw only with a router)
    Dovetail Kit jig
    Band saw
    Oscillating spindle Sander
    Sliding Mitre Saw with bench
    Wide belt sander (300mm)
    Thicknesser
    Planer/Jointer
Sliding table Bench saw (will take an 8x4 sheet)
    Another Bench Saw
    Router table with router
    Drill Press
    Dust extractor and ducting
    Symtec 1600 lathe
Many router bits, saw blades, battery drills, hand sanders, etc too numerous to list
I may have missed some things. It would be best to come and check it all out.Only interested in selling as a package at this stage, so please don't ask to split
