Ezycut Combination machine
Hello all,
I have just picked up an Ezycut combination machine and i am looking forward to using it. It is a table saw and a planer and I have it in the workshop next to my Myford ML-8 wood lathe. Is there anyone who may have literature about Ezycut machines or a photo they could post if they have one. I will post a photo of mine shortly,
many thanks, mgtoolmaker

I have had mine for a few years now and quite like it. I use the jointer all the time but only use the saw for things like cutting tennons and other joints with a sled I made for it. That saves me having to be always changing blades and things on my main table saw. I dont know of any books or other litrature on them as the company no longer exists. That said they are not too hard to suss out and I will try to answer any questions you have. I raised a thread when I got my machine.

here are the photos
A few shots of my new toy. It has belt guards and the base is enclosed so it looks neat as well. Ran it last night, I think the bearings are a bit dry and squeaky which isnot an issue. Any information appreciated

Hey Matty,
I had a feeling you may be around (thanks for helping with this). Digging around, I have managed to find another little cutout. I don't have a date for this one, but I do note the address change from 71 White street Mordialloc to 14-16 Joel court Moorabbin in this cutout so not sure if that confirms before or after 65-66 (I suspect after).
The 8"
The 10"
The 12"
As they say size matters
Cheers,
Camo

and the model is
Hello all,
Wow, many thanks for the information, I got the tape onto my machine and she measures up as a 4" planer and an 8" saw. The missing pulley is not actually missing, it seems there is a disc sander that goes on the shaft.
I will have a read of the spec sheets you kindly sent and see what else i can get from them. Mine certainly has cast extension tables on two sides of the main saw table and they look original issue / special order.
I will let you know how the trials with it go ,
thanks mgtoolmaker

I bought a 8/4 Ezycut in 1978 from a manual arts teacher who had bought it new in the 1960s.
On the very first day I got it I a managed to lose about 1/3 of my ring finger fingernail on the buzzer
I renovated our house and back yard with it, including cutting all the paving bricks for the sunken pergola that was popular in the 1970's
Then bought a dedicated table saw and a combo planer/thicknesser so Ezycut was relegated to the back of the shed to collect dust but I resurrected it as a metal cutting saw for about 6 years using a thin kerf cutting blade. It cut a lot of metal - I used to keep a cardboard box under the sawdust chute and it collected many kgs of metal dust over those years
Recently I bought a plasma cutter so I rejuvenated the whole unit and gave it to my sone - he loves it.

Hi everybody, I have inherited an Ezy Cut machine but the jointer is missing two blades and spacers. Can anybody tell me if any currently available blades will fit as i presume Ezy Cut spare parts haven't been available for years

Ezycut workshop wizard combination lathe
Would anyone on this thread know what are the dimensions of the Headstock Spindle Shaft? I would ideally like it if it were 5/8" straight (not a tapered auger)... with a flat for a grub screw to tighten onto. many thanks.
