Finding parts for old plane
I got this cool tongue and groove Stanley but it is minus the second cutter and the thing that holds it in place.
So it will make grooves only-
Advice on where I can find parts ?
Thanks!

You could try the following:
http://www.jimdavey-planes-sharpening.com/page1.aspx
http://www.hansbrunnertools.com/
There is also a UK seller on ebay that sells old plane irons. Search plane irons on the bay and you will find it.
Is the plane a 48 or 49 and any chance of a pic?
Good luck with the hunt.
Regards
John

Hi Holly,
There's also this bloke in the States:
http://stores.ebay.com.au/newhampshi...p2047675.l2563
No affiliation and I've never bought off him, but came across his 'store' one day.

If you don't have any luck in Oz, you could try Patrick Leach -- http://www.supertool.com/oldtools.htm
