How’s your French.
My French vocabulary is about trois words long, not such a problem for my day to day living arrangements.
But then i found this book,an just from the two pages i can see,it looks wonderful, but the price for what is basically a picture book for me,bugger.
A very long shot any one know of a English translation.
Book: LE LIVRE DE L'OUTIL by Andre Velter & Marie Jose Lamothe - 90965 – Jim Bode Tools
Merci Matt.

I don't know about an English translation but if you get stuck, pm me. My wife is native French.

About 2 years ago, I translated documents for university PhD researchers. They were French medical texts on tuberculosis in Algeria.
Yeah, pretty esoteric.
I did 98% no problem, but local wording or a new word caught me out... I used my mobile phone!
With the Google Translate ap, using the camera, I could hover over the nasty bits and it would change the text for me real time.
Nice!

Matt, why are you looking at Jim Bode's site . . . did you win a lottery?

Bonjour Matt,
Désolé, je n'ai pas trouvé de copie en ligne.
À votre santé

I wasn't going to mention it, but I had a look around after Simplicity posted.
There are copies going rather inexpensively (AUD72): LE LIVRE DE L'OUTIL by VELTER André/LAMOTHE Marie-José/Marquis Jean(Photos):: Bon Couverture souple (1963) | Bibliofolie
Also they are on Amazon (USA).
