Help with ID for Gunmetal Infill Plane
Howdy Brains Trust
Looking for suggestions on possible makers for this gunmetal infill plane.
I would say that its at least as good a construction & casting of the major makers in the UK ie. Spiers, Mathieson etc. Really unusual back palm/thumb forefinger rest also made from gunmetal. Walnut infill which looks oroginal but has shrrunk in areas.
Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated as I cant find another with the same back rest or lever cap screw.
Cheers Dan

Not sure who made it. Sometimes the name is very faintly punched into the front of the toe infill. I tend to look for clues by finding a matching levercap screw online. The only ones similar I could find were labelled as Scottish infills (which is the standard fallback position for those they can't identify).
