    Default help? My japanese chisels.

Hi. I'm new here, sorry for my english. Not my first language.

I found these 3 japanese chisels from a finnish marketplace and wanted to know if anybody knows anything about them.

My woodwork teacher said that these could be old and maybe worth something...

In my view Japanese chisels are just that, Japanese chisels. Its just about impossible to identify which makers mark belong to whom. You get the white and blue steel varieties but that doesnt matter as much as well.

Yours seem to be well used. My advice, clean them up, sharpen them and enjoy using them.

I cannot find any images to comment on.

"Old" does not translate to "valuable". It depends on who made the chisels, and their condition.

    Regards from Perth
