I know it's only small, but come on!
Can you please photograph it a little closer!
Stanley No.1 on eFlay Australia
Very hard to judge its condition or its authenticity due to poor photos. Handle looks iffy...

Nobody has placed a bid yet, what the want and what they get will most likely be very different

I know it's ridiculous! I try to photograph a $5 BIN listing better than that. No chance of a sale.

May be he got told to sell it off by SWMBO, thinking that if the ad is small enough and over priced, no one will buy it.

Interesting that he doesn’t know enough about planes to photograph it properly, or to even take the blade out and show that but he’s managed to find a reserve price for it.

Never saw any reason to have a No1 and if that's an indication of the price I never will have reason to have one.

Everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.

I agree that the photo's are important some #1's have been known to crack between the mouth & the sides. There were also a lot of copies made apparently here in WA some years back if I remember according to an Australian notable dealer in Planes etc.
I have had a genuine Stanley #1 for a very long time,as well as the Lie Nielsen #1 ,they are not ornaments I have used them from time to time.
CheersJohnno
