ID British floor cramps.
A friend of mine was recently given a pair of floor cramps brought to Aus' from the UK 45 years ago. There is no makers marks on them, anyone know who they may have been made by?
Cheers,
Geoff.

Kimberley pattern flooring cramps.
Shown in this picture from 1930s S Tyzack & Son catalog
img148.jpg
Found an1899 British patent 25716, issued to Kimberley & Sons Tool Manufacturing Co., D., and Kimberley, W. which looks like the above cramp
"Cramps. -The head A of flooring and other cramps is made with projections B to rest on the top of the board &c. and keep the tool and work in the proper relative positions." see Espacenet – search results
[Edit; Looks like it was 1848 registered design 1570, also discussed in the 1848 Civil Engineer & Architect's Journal

Kwigly,
I'm going to nominate you for the "Legend of the Month" award. Thankyou very much for your quick and comprehensive answer to my query.
There's no doubt this is a great forum.
Cheers,
Geoff.
