Default I was looking for British Standard Whitworth taps...

    And I found some...

HSS 8mm Cutting Dia Screw Thread Metric Intermediate Taps Tool

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HSS-8mm-C...item3f3723f691

The picture clearly shows that the tap is "5/16-18 BSW"

I was looking for British Standard Whitworth taps...-tap-5_16-jpg

So you think "he's posted the wrong picture" - but he's also selling:

HSS 6.35mm Cutting Dia Screw Thread Metric Intermediate Taps Tool - and the picture clearly shows "1/4-20 BSW"

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HSS-6-35m...item5d4e7a34aa

Maybe he doesn't really want to sell them

    Cheers, Vann.

Photo misplacement is a common thing.
I recently ran across this on the Bunnings website where a number of the photos of the hole saw packs didn't match with the description.

But I think this isn't photo misplacement - I think it's a description cock-up. To the best of my knowledge there's no such thing as M6.35 - it really is a 1/4inch BSW tap he's trying to sell . Trying very badly....

He has probably measured it with his digital vernier gauge. Digital never lies.
