Went to swap meet recently and was offered 6 planes for 20dollars by a keen seller.
This pair of H&R were attractive so I accepted; 2 0ther non descript woodies and #11 no 4 stanley and Pope no 4 filled out the backpack.

The planes are made by Staniforth & Food with three crowns completing the stamp.
No number stamps to indicate curvature. Showing signs of little use; some hammer damage to the wedges.
I have a few H&R planes so I looked to see if I had a match for curvature.
Mathieson #14 seems to match closely; nice because I dont have a #14 hollow.

Internet search shows Staniforth & Food Planemakers in Birmingham around 1850.
