    Default Mystery plane

    Hi All
found this mystery plane while cleaning out the leanto at my partners place. It appears to be a skewed rebate plane, cast iron, bevel down, single iron. The handle appears to have been added later. A previous repair broke while I was scraping crap off it. It has no makers marks , either on the blade or body. If anyone knows what this is and where it was made, I'd love to hear.

    cheers

Looks like a part of #41 Miller's patent adjustable plane.

I think you are right. Can't imagine there would have been a lot of those sold here!

    Thanks to all.
I don't appear to have any other parts.

Even if you don't have the rest, I expect that part alone could fetch a nice price.

    regards, Jeff
