Pop's Saw
My Pop was a builder and the attached saw was one of his. I would like to clean it up and have it as a user. Any advice on how I should go about this would be greatly appreciated. Any info about this saw/maker would be greatly appreciated too. I have a few planes of his to clean up down the track but found this one today and thought I might be able to make a start on it.

You could have a look here http://gallery.me.com/oldmillrat#100210 it will at least let you see what the rest of the carving looks like.
Also read this and the next page of "saw sense" http://www.geocities.com/~mvr1/atkinssaws.html
Enjoy
Cheers

Thanks Burnie, I found the second one but nice to see photo's of the original saw. Will re-make the handle but can't see myself going with the carving. So whats the best way to clean up the blade?
