Late last year I bought a bunch of tools on Trademe.

I wanted the dies, but included with the auction were three pipe clamps - and a pipe cutter.

It's a Record No.102 pipe cutter. I don't have a current photo (it's in bits being de-rusted and painted) but here's a picture from ebay.

Then in mid-January this year this pipe cutter was listed on Trademe.

They look VERY similar.

I'd say one company copied the other company's product. And going by Record's track record....
