Old Ritch Pty Ltd tool- What is it?
Is there anyone out there who can identify what this this tool is used for? Automotive? hydraulic? A type of reamer? It has a 1/2" square drive pocket which fits my socket set neatly which made me think it was automotive. Was thinking it maybe was a tappet bore cleaner if such a thing was ever needed?
A net search shows Ritch Engineering Pty Ltd was established in 1935 in Clayton, Vic. They seemed to make all types of automotive service tools and later on hydraulic equipment.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Jacques

Only a guess but maybe automotive valve guide chamfering tool or less likely - a part of a water pump rebuild tool set.
