I somewhat take offence at there being a comma at the end of my list???!!!! For LanceC and Ironwood, and even MarkHarrison, I **totally** understand it, but me, I've been quite restrained I thought !

    Cheers Matt,

I’ve had too many beers + rums to respond to this properly. I just fell off the wheelybin with a shovel in hand trying to get a snake offf my downpipe. Lucky it didn’t land on me, otherwise my underpants might be in a different state.. I don’t know what more to say.....currently looking at my bleeding knee

You’re offended? After a dodgy saw number was put on that one backsaw, I only had my phone with me and wanted to reserve it, so memorised the number in order to reply. Now days later, I can still recite 11976-432^4 from memory, and Matt doesn’t even offer the curtesy of writing down the full number that he came up with on his summary sheet! I’m going to forget something important at some point in my life because a bunch of neurones will forever have been used to store Matt’s made up number!

To be fair, this isn’t an isolated event. I can also tell you that the first girl I had a crush on in primary school’s mother drove a yellow VW city golf, with a number plate reading CCN80768.

    Kind regards,
    Lance

I just woke up on the veranda with Hounddog Taylor belting out “She’s Gone” , wondering how I got this lump on my forehead. I just moved inside as AC/DC started on “she’s got the jack” and all I can think about is my Old Hardpoint down in the shed. No, there won’t be any photos. Getting old is no fun.

I always feel it is prudent to discuss my issues with a chef, after I’ve consumed the meal they have provided for me.

Sally. Matt made up 11976-432⁴, he gets no flowers, but he's welcome to sniff them if he would like.

P.S. Matt, just to be clear, I'm only joking, and think you've been incredibly generous with your time and saws in this endeavour.

I'm sure Matt knew you were only joking.

Don't be disappointed when your saws arrive without teeth .

    Lance,

It will take a little bit more than that to ruffle my feathers, it’s all good.

    Cheers Matt [emoji215][emoji215][emoji215]

Hmmm, I have enough saws without teeth at the moment, but fortunately my Bahco files arrived today (after being ordered mid Sept). Actually, I should take a leaf out of Bre'r Rabbit's book.

Please Matt, if you must, cut off the teeth, bend the saw plates, even paint country and western scenes on the back saws. But please, oh please don't remove the nail from #32.
