    Default No Sawing Allowed

    Hi,

I'm guessing that this is up for sale as they don't have permission to saw:
Ban saw for quick sale | Miscellaneous Goods | Gumtree Australia New South Wales - Central Coast NSW Region

Not mine, and I have no room for it. Could be a nice clean up for someone.
Thought someone on this list might be interested as it wouldn't come up in a normal search.

SOLD!! A big thank you Hiroller for spotting this one, and Matty for texting me last night. I got the guy to measure the wheel, which he was unable to accurately, but he did try and thought it was 800mm, so I am guessing 30-32".

I will start a new post now, so I dont hijack this one. i will try to take photos soon.

    cheers,

    cameron

P.S. please no one tell my wife

Nice acquisition. Can't see how you would hijack this thread. Seems mission accomplished and anything else is about the saw. Hope I find your new thread.

    DaveTTC,

You are probably right, but I will aim to eventually restore this, so a new thread is probably best. This is a link to the new thread: https://www.woodworkforums.com/f163/m...andsaw-172323/

    Cheers,

    Thanks Camo,

I'll follow with interest - appreciate the link. I'm having a woodworking get together down in Jerilderie next year if your interested. http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/f2/wo...n-under-51724/. Sorry just clicked link, wrong one. There is one on this forum same event. I'll just look for the link, I'm on an app so a little tricky navigating to get links.

Sounds like fun (thanks for the invite), I especially like the part about bringing some tools (do you know if 3 phase is available, the Stenner table saw should be fully operational by then).

Unfortunately like most people I wouldn't be able to commit 100% at the moment, but if you don't mind I will jump across to your post and put myself down as planning to come.

    Cheers,

    Camo

I don't know if three phase is there or not. If not I'm sure we can put the word out and some may be able to bring some inverters.
