Saw Sharping for a Buck,
Not really much to say, this was on a Facebook group im in.
The gentleman said he could sharpen anything.
Back then you did what you had to do,to make a buck.

There are still 2 wheeled sharpening services in Sydney.
Not sure they sharpen many saws though ...

Matt
In your pic doesn't the guy have to sit on the bike to provide the motive power? Or perhaps he is just wondering where all the teeth went.
On closer inspection I see that the saw is upside down or should that be downside up? He is holding a file, I presume, although despite my best forensic techniques I am unable to sharpen and enlarge the image satisfactorily. I still can't see any teeth.

Do remember this was taken before iPhone magic cameras were around.
So doubtful it was taken as a happy tourist shot following there tour guide.
The gentleman was no doubt asked to poss and stand still while the print developer did it’s black magic.
They both probably “assumed”(I HATE that word)
We could figure the rest out[emoji849]

The old guy is definitely holding a file to a saw.

Gavin
Five and four by my count.
I think the bloke with the cartwheels could have a sideline turning his horse out to "mow" the yards while he sharpens: Manure by the bag would be a bonus for selected customers.
