Spiral Screwdriver Collection
Hi,
AM a newbie to this forum and apparently I need to post a few msgs so I can start posting images.
So , any one interested in seeing a small collection of spiral screwdrivers ? Not sure if the OCD is mine alone or others were bitten too.
At least I think they are interesting to look at Some I actually use around the house.
It was this particular OCD that rekindled my interest in woodwork.
If you want to see some pics, yell and I'll post them here when I am able.
Cheers
Mal

I’m more CDO; but yeah I’d love to see your collection!

Not much of a collection. Two Stanley Yankees ...
An old photo - the wall has since changed ...

The original cordless screwdrivers. I loved using the Yankee screwdrivers, except when they exited the screw slot, usually a few choice words were aired! If only we had a choice of philips, pozidrive, etc screws back in the 1970's then perhaps there would have been far less colourful language coming from chippies.
I would love to view your collection.Mobyturns

ok, thanks for the interest... here we go...
There are some other odds and sods that came along with the OCD too... some very early screwdrivers and some Millers Falls planes.
Looks a little small - is the 800x600 image size actually enforced ?
Cheers

Mal, you've got some beauties there, I noticed a pair of A H Reid's up the back and a nice Decatur Coffin Co in the middle of the front row.
When we built our house in Karratha in 1978, the cabinet maker that did the kitchen fit-out used a Yankee screwdriver exclusively.
Thanks for showing your collection.
Cheers,
Geoff.

"If only we had a choice of philips, pozidrive, etc screws back in the 1970's", we did, I have both from my days as a apprentice, the Pozidriv bit was given to me by the Howard Silvers rep they were the original importers Phillips bits came with a new Yankee.

And some push drills and tools-in-handles, and is that a set of Warren interchangeable chisels in the box up top right?
