Default Stacey Pease & Co dovetail saw

Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone out there might be able to point me in the right direction or give me some info on a my first antique dovetail in my newly started collection of old tools. It has the makers name of Stacey Pease & Co Sheffield on the topside of the blades spine, its blade is 12 inches long & it has a beautifully designed wooden handle which is a whole handle not half, 3 big brass rivots? If any one knows any thing about this saw any info would be appreciated. Cheers. Slinky

I went through the list of makers on backsaw.net & unfortunately Stacey Pease & Co isn't on their list. The only place I have seen mention of their name was on a straight razor forum which mentioned that Stacey Pease & Co bought out a company (which was originally started by George Brittian) back in 1861 & then in turn bought out themselves in 1881. There were no links to continue on looking so I came here.
Would this saw hold any value & if so how much? I'm not looking to sell it, I collect it's more for interest sake. thanx

I"m not an expert but despite its age probably not a whole lot. Similar ones come up pretty often on eBay and make around the 30 dollar mark.
