There seem to be a few Marsh Mitre items on the US eBay at the moment.
Including one that looks like a Miller Falls with the special saw from the back setup.

I might also have more than one mitre box as well as another mitre gadget.
Maybe we need to open a chapter of Mitre Box Anonymous.

I'm not sure I could be a party to that as it might be seen by some as an admission of guilt. Currently I am in denial (of almost everything). )

what's the big idea posting about the U.S. ebay mitre items (I will not be buying any) but,
will now have to try to work out in which (including Paul's and mine) order they were made, grrrrr

    Matt, Paul & Gavin

I've always thought I was a novice when it came to (having more than one of each item) but I
reckon I'm gonna need a bigger boat (maybe a whale boat) I had a look around the shed this arvo
and counted 19 mitre boxes and 7 various other mitre items, after all they are rather interesting
    to say the least.

I'm sure there must be others out there with way more than me.

    Graham.

    Graham.
You have 19 mitre boxes and counting,
Thank you for that, I can now explain to my wife that I’m in a controlled state.
Tho I don’t really know if she would recognise the four mitre boxes.
She does think I have few saws tho.

    Cheers Matt
(Will we get to see 19 pics?)

Just a quick thought: Does that well known hardware store own 10 of these devices?

    Default Mitre saws

    Gavin

I may photograph the mitre boxes some day but am not able to at this time, sorry.

I do have a couple of photos of the saws though.

    Mitre saws 1 x 30" 4 x 28" 2 x 26" 11 x 24" 1 x 22" 1 x 20"

    and back saws 2 x 16" 1 x 14" which are good in the smaller # 150 mitre boxes.

    Paul

not sure what you mean with regard to the hardwear store, went over my head.

Mitre 10 ? Maybe not in SA.

Insert smiley face. (This computer doesn't do smileys. Actually it doesn't do words well either. Each word is typed at least twice!!!)

Nice little swag of saws there too.

    Matt

the shortest 3 are only back saws the rest are mitre saws.

Not all of my boxes came with a saw so I just kept a lookout
and when one presented itself, whooska it found itself hanging
up with the rest of em.

    Paul

ah the penny has dropped, yes we do have Mitre10 over here,

but I reckon they would only have those cheap plastic boxes that
every handy man needs to match up with his plastic handled hard point saw.

Funny how saws just say "pick me, pick me."

Mitre 10. Yeah, cheap and nasty: No style, no nothing. They can keep them.

Hope this works across the big pond.

I lately picked up a 400 jig, the larger version. I really did, even with no pictures.
