    Smile Wadkin Radial Saw

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I found this which might be handy for a collector:

Radial Arm Saw, Wadkin, Model AC125 fitted 450mm tungsten tipped saw blade, Auction (0024-5003802) | GraysOnline Australia

Looks to be in pretty good nick too! The photos are on the site, but I figured having them here for later reference after the sale might be handy.

The rise and fall comes from the front wheel, I guess?

Yes the big crank is rise and fall and the small othere is to lock the pivot. Thought you have to go around to the back collar it engage the presets on the massive pillar.

Good one on the Modle Matty

The C family of Docking /trenching saws were designed in the 30sThat is the earliest I found in catalog 1936).

    http://www.turnersworkshop.co.uk/Wadkin1936.pdf

There were 2 CCs a 25" and 33" cross cut and this looks like the CC2 with the 33" cut. Both where 18" saws with a DOC of 5". If you needed more there was the 24" CD but i do not believe the head tilted on this model.

looks like someone got a great deal as this Wadkin sold for $109.

    Default wadkin cc2

Just found this thread on google and had to join.

My father's company still uses their CC2 every day, never had maintenance and he bought it used in 1971
