    I can't imagine why Whitworth spanners would be needed these days unless restoring old mechanical stuff. What I have found in the past if push came to shove some metric spanners came surprisingly close to a lot of Whitworth sizes.

    This is the "Antiques and Collectables Tools and Machines" sub forum, most of my machines require Whitworth spanners.
