G'day,

On behalf of a friend, I am looking for a mate who has family in South Africa she is wanting organise immigration for. They are her parents Don and Pat and brothers John and Darryl.

The rules for immigration include that more than half of their children live in Australia to make the pathway easy (after the $34,000 per head!). My friends problem is that of herself and 4 siblings, only the 2 girls are here.

One of her brothers are settled in South Africa, John works within Don’s business and the third son, Darryl, was born with a metabolic disease which at the age of 27 leaves him dependant on his parents. While he is employable, due to his medical condition he has special needs that the South African business world cannot support. Australia has a whole other perspective in this arena and so he could do well here. If the 2 kids with their parents can immigrate together (or at least John first) then the family will meet the ‘more than half’ criteria.

What I'm after, is if anyone has a solid contact within the cabinet making business. Don and his son John are qualified cabinet makers in kitchens and bedroom furniture. While they manage the family business over there they would be happy to support an Australian business here and the prospect of having work before the move will make them (and our Government) more comfortable. There is also the option of an employer-sponsored visa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
