    Smile Alpine scroll saw clock

I just finished making the largest size scroll sawn project I have attempted.

I saw a neat looking clock pattern at Cherry Tree Toys

It is called an Alpine wall clock. I built my clock from maple. I did 5 rounds of 220 grit sanding then polyurethane. No stain was used because I like the natural color of maple.

Here are some photos of this clock:

Ready to sand and apply polyurethane:

Doors on the back of the clock:

    And the finished clock:

For more info on how I built this clock, see my web site.

    Thanks

Looks amazing Dale. How long did it take you to get through the scroll work?

Great work Dale, and you have a great web site as well. I have just spent an hour there. I found a mitre saw stand plan there that I hope to use there as well.
