    Default Birds Eye Huon Pine

Sometimes a run of the mill build turns out to be something you are very happy with,
This was one of those times.

I will never be the person who has everything, not when someone keeps inventing so much cool new stuff to buy.

From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".

    Oh, yeah!

What's the frame? Whatever, it complements the Huon well, as does the face. All in all, it came together very nicely!

    Gotta be worth a greenie.

    G'day Skew,
The frame is plain Huon Pine.
It has to be mixed with something with figure or birdseye or it looks like a lump of cheese.

I know exactly what you mean - it doesn't look "cheddar cheesy" enough to me to be Huon, which is why I asked.

So it's all Huon? Now I'm even more impressed! It's easy stuff to work, but I've found it can be a right mongrel to get a good finish on... and I'm one of those blokes who will always dint it with something during final assembly.

i think I look too hard at it?

Good looking clock Ravlord. It is great when things work in your favour like that.
