    Hi
This is my first clock and I'd like some constructive feedback from the more experienced please as I know I can always do better. The timber is Mallee with Jonathon Knowles fitup.

Great job. The clock looks great, Love the deep rich color of the wood.

Welcome to the clockmakers! You may have just started on the road to addiction!

Mallee burl is always nice and you have a really interesting peice. Well done too

A question: Did you rout out a pocket for the mechanism at the back or cut it with a forstner bit? (just interested to see how others do it)

    Great work,

    Great work,

Thanks guys, and yes I'm already addicted and on to my second clock, boy I love this clock making stuff. I did no cutting as it's as hard as concrete and the clock centre went all the way through and did not require cutting in. The clock guys at J Knowles said this is fine.
