It went together pretty easy for a first one. I have changes only a few small things in the cutout code
It take 220gr to make the gear train to move now just a needed the alignment of a few gears
There look to be a lot of friction where the pallets and escapement wheel rub. It is ply on ply and I thinking all those little end fibers rubbing against each other, so I will try changing the pallets over to polished brass. If nothing else it will look good.

    Any idea always welcome

What about a candle rubbed on the edges, The wax should help a lot.

Pallet are the faces of the rocker that come in contact with the escapement wheel

I personnel do not like anything on working surfaces as they change as there age or wear away. Just me...

Then its a lot of sanding with fine grit by hand.
Which I don't mind doing at all.
Means I'm doing something other than smoking in front of the tele.

No it only got a few hours at best.
As life goes, something a little more important came up and then another and so on.
I will get back to it, just got 3 project to get finished, a RD project, A new cnc router from scratch, and My son's wedding (at least this is a easy one )
