Hi TP1, At the price of $152 its not worth taking it to a repairer really. And it also means I can have a go at lubricating it myself without fear of not being able to get another movement. If you can send me a copy of the lube points from the manual that would be very helpful indeed. If it doesn't work out I will order another movement, especially with the exchange rate being favourable at the moment . You have been a great help thanks. Spin

Not sure where in perth you are but i do know of a little european bloke that repairs clocks based in midland called OSTOJA Watch and Clock repairs
he is not on the internet but contact details are as follows
