I first saw the snot bar on one of his videos. Having tried it myself, I can't imagine using a sander without using the snot bar. They ought to include it as standard equipment with every sander sold.
These are the ones we're talking about for anyone interested. Belt & Disc Cleaners : CARBA-TEC

Andrew,
Yes bought aircraft ply from the site you mentioned, found the chap there thoroughly helpful too!
Also found some cheaper advertised by a company in Spalding called "Skycraft", however they didn't reply to emails so didn't get any business!
I also get good quality interior grade birch ply from Illingworth Ingham who I believe have branches nation wide. The 3mm stuff is what I use most of and laminate parts up accordingly! Works for me!
Yes, do recommend the "snot bar"!...... Work a treat!
Chris.

Some tools arrived yesterday. A big thanks to Brett for organising the group buy.
I did my best to contain my excitement but I failed. I can now make a start on the cogs.
Manufactured in Germany by Colt, they are a mix of HSS-M2 for the brad points and high alloy for the forstners.
