Thread: Can anyone help me?

What I want to end up with is essentially a "commemorative clock"

A "Mantle Clock", of approximate dimension 250 (w) x 250 (d) x 450 (h) including a slide-out shelf (side/rear access). White face, gold/brass roman numerals and hands. Battery powered. Made either out of Pine, or similarly light-coloured.

The slide out shelf on the base is to house the ashes of my grandparents, with a plaque to be placed on the front (under the clock face).

As an example of the basic idea we have so far, my grandfather likes this look (obviously not the actual antique, just the shape/style):
