    Default New wall clock

Well look what happens when one has not logged in here for a while.
A whole new link for those of us who make clocks.
    Excellent.Thank you.

The clock pictured is my latest work.
I still make Grandfather clocks, but deceided to make a wall clock, mainly to use up some beautiful Fiddle Blackwood shorts.
I use a German, 'Hermle' ,8 day, key wound ,Westminster movement. A sweet little movement with a beautiful sound.
    The clock is 700mm long x 300mm wide x 200mm deep.
I am very happy with the finished product.

    Nice Clock

Looks like a nice piece of Tassie Timber.
Did you buy your movement locally or import?

    Great work

Thank you all.Yes I am very pleased with the look of these wall clocks.
I drew up the plan for these clocks.I imported the complete movement from the US from www.ronellclockcompany.bnetsoftware.com . This clock was sold as a christmas present.I have another simular clock at Sears Morton Furniture in Canberra.Cheers

    Default Nice Clock

The only thing that I would like to see is that the pictures are a lot closer so we can see a closer brouse over the joints, please do not get me wrong I don't even know how to past a picture on the site.
From a distent it does look very nice but I am very interested in the joints and construction.
One day I do hope that I will get around to building a grant mother clock, I do have the plans to do so but not the time as yet.
