Ouch!!!! Hope that doesn't need stitches, certainly a bit of blood there Bob.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    Thanks for the reminder,
I guess you didn't have much choice but buy a new bezel by the look of it.
Was it a build or repair?- The clock I mean.

my mate is restoring an old clock,he has bought a new bezel, but i got this great idea of grinding off the old german silver off the old bezel with my dremel, then buff on the bench grinder buffing wheel, almost finished then whoosh, one minute i was buffing,..the next was the thing twisting with the wheel trying to rip my thumb off at the same time, and then i had the bezel tightly wrapped around my thumb. i couldn,t get my thumb out so i had to force out by untwisting with pliers, while blood is pissing out of the thumb due to the fact that i take blood thinning medication, so you can imagine the geyser flowing all over everything, bandages in the house but cant go in whilst bleeding to death ,so i used one of my shellawax cloths. in the end it was only a piece about the size of a pea taken out of thumb and about six half inch cuts, sort of looks like one of the old red bungers after they go off, and it clicks when bent, but hey i still got it on my hand. bob

Whoa Bob, a bit of claret their bloke. I reckon you should dip ya thumb in some salt water and then maybe put iodine on it. Yes, more ouchies but for speedy recovery, nothin beats it to get back into the swing of things mate.
    Take care now

Oh I forgot, rum will do it too but really, one should drink it instead
Armidale hasn't changed apart from a few developments like that mob Centro built a complex with big w in it n opened just b4 xmas. Had a decent fall of rain and had to dodge rain drops inside the complex while doin the shoppin', no wonder they gone bust.
Kmart too upgraded their complex late last year and it leaked. Cost cutting at it's finest.
T'is very green around here country wise and still have an abundant water supply.

Where abouts in Brissie r you Bob?
I lived in ascot/Hamilton for a couple of years. Great place brissie but not quite big enough for me and the ex.
    Later,
